FAQS
You will need to have soccer shoes, shin pads and a water bottle. These are mandatory at every game. For all U6 – U10, players need runners as practices are held in gymnasiums starting in early October.
Your registration fee covers the cost of a jersey, shorts and socks.
For boys, an athletic supporter is recommended.
The U is short for “under”. Age groups for teams are determined by the year of birth. Players must be “under” the age level as of December 31st in order to play for that age level.
For example, for a player to participate in the U8 level, he or she must be 7 years old and not have attained the age of 8 years prior to December 31st. If your child is 10 years old and her birthday is after December 31, she would play at the U11 level.
For example in the 2018/19 season:
Year of Birth Playing Age Group
2013 U6
2012 U7
2011 U8
And so on….
Timbits is for U4-7. These are programs run by our Technical Team with parent volunteer Coaches.
Mini Division is for U8 – U10. Lead by volunteer coaches, players play 6v6 (U8) or 7v7 soccer (U9/10).
Super 8 refers to the 8v8 soccer played by our U11 & 12’s.
Divisional is full field, 11v11 soccer played by our U13 – U18 teams.
